Housing Technology 2011 will take place at the National College for Leadership of Schools and Children's Services in Nottingham, with its state-of-the-art conference centre set in its own tranquil lakeside grounds. The National College for Leadership has excellent transport links, being close to both Nottingham railway station (15 mins by taxi) and the M1. There is ample free parking.

Onsite overnight accommodation is available direct from the National College for Leadership (www.nationalcollege.org.uk) as well as via Nottingham’s many city-centre hotels. Onsite caterers will provide lunch and refreshments throughout the day, including an informal evening drinks reception.

By road – from the South
Leave the M1 at Junction 25 taking the A52 to Nottingham. After five miles you will come to the A6514 (Middleton Boulevard) roundabout. Go straight across (this becomes Derby Road). On your right you will pass the Queen's Medical Centre. About 1 mile past the roundabout turn left onto Triumph Road (HA Fox Jaguar Garage is on the corner). The College is situated on the left after half a mile.

By road – from the North
Leave the M1 at Junction 26 taking the A610 to Nottingham. After approximately three miles turn right on to the A6514, Western Boulevard. At the second roundabout, turn left on to the A609 Wollaton Road. At the next set of traffic lights, turn right on to Triumph Road. The College is situated on the right after half a mile.

By rail
Nottingham railway station is close to the city centre and has a taxi rank adjacent. The journey to the College takes about 15 minutes.

By air
East Midlands airport is approximately 10 miles south of Nottingham, just off junctions 23A/24 of the M1 motorway. The journey by taxi from the airport takes about 30 minutes.
