£1m social housing deal for Civica

A2 Dominion Housing Group, Three Rivers Housing Association, Meres & Mosses Housing Association and building services firm Jackson Lloyd have recently signed separate contracts with Civica for the upgrading of their front- and back-office systems.

Each organisation is expected to deploy specific solutions based on Civica’s Universal Housing, Contact Manager and Servitor products, with a combined order value of more than £1 million.

A2 Dominion, with 32,000 properties across A2 and Dominion, is focusing on integrated contact management, housing administration and ‘first-time fix’, with the aim of having 75 per cent of all telephone calls resolved without the need for additional follow up. Universal Housing will also be used to align back-office operations between A2 and Dominion.

Three Rivers is using Civica’s front and back office systems, including contact management, housing administration and mobile working, to streamline operations for the newly-transferred stock from Berwick Borough Housing, before upgrading Three Rivers’ own customer services operation.

Meres & Mosses, part of the Shropshire Housing Group, has implemented Universal Housing to make the group’s IT services more efficient. At the same time, the group’s provider of maintenance and repairs services, Total Response, is rolling out Civica’s mobile working product. Carl Whitehill, IT manager, Shropshire Housing Group, said, “We hope to resolve tenant repairs more quickly and offer a more consistent and streamlined service, as well as allow the newly-formed Shropshire Group, which includes South Shropshire Housing Association, to operate seamlessly.”

Jackson Lloyd, which provides building maintenance services to over twenty RSLs and local authorities in the north-west of England, is installing the Servitor repairs and maintenance system, including automated workforce scheduling and mobile working.

John Hood, managing director for housing and asset management, Civica, said, “It is impossible to apply a ‘one size fits all’ approach, so we deliberately offer solutions to housing associations and maintenance providers that complement existing IT systems.”
