Cruden signs Kirona, ROCC and Xmbrace

software from Kirona, ROCC and Xmbrace.

ROCC UniClass will replace Cruden’s in-house works management system for job costing, stock control and invoicing, and Xmbrace’s Opti-Time will enable dynamic job scheduling for Cruden’s work planners. As Cruden’s prime contractor, Kirona is delivering its Job Manager system for Cruden’s entire mobile workforce as well as providing managed support for all three solutions.

Paul Fadden, partnership manager, Cruden Property Services, said, “This is a significant investment in the future of our business and follows a wide-ranging business review which focused on how we can change and improve things to deliver the best service to our customers.”

Cruden’s mobile workers will have work requests sent direct to their handheld devices wherever they are. After completing a mandatory vehicle safety check on the device, workers can then view their jobs and update their status as they go along to inform Cruden’s work planners, through Opti-Time, of each job’s progression.

As well as viewing jobs and updating their progress, the Kirona system also allows users to record a variety of other information. Operatives can vary SOR codes, record their use of van stock material, record customer feedback, take photographs of work required or completed, capture signatures for work sign-off, and carry out relevant risk assessments.
