Paragon Community Housing Group and Viridian Housing are now both using HousingDocs for electronic document management (EDM).
The catalyst for the HousingDocs implementation at Paragon was the volume and variety of paper documents resulting from the merger of Elmbridge Housing Trust and Richmond Upon Thames Churches Housing Trust (to form Paragon), with each organisation having its own processes and filing structures.
HousingDocs was invited to review all of the paper filing throughout both organisations and deliver a structured filing system using EDM. This was achieved through the integration of information in key systems and pre-configured modules in HousingDocs, resulting in a unified filing system across Paragon’s operations.
Dave Anthony from Paragon’s IT team said, “We were going through a number of changes during the merger and the paper filing was extremely complicated. HousingDocs pulled information from our housing systems to create a powerful automated filing structure. This integration and automation has helped all parts of the organisation in delivering document management that matches current filing requirements.”
