Our new Housing Technology Research report – 'Spectrum 2013: Review of IT Suppliers' is one of the most comprehensive studies of housing providers' views of their incumbent technology suppliers.
The report comprises the views of 220+ senior IT executives from across the UK, based around 20+ main technology areas, resulting in 26,000+ data points. Furthermore, to ensure that there was absolutely no scope for bias, we eschewed all commercial sponsorship of the report so that we could analyse and report the results without fear or favour.
The report covers: asset management, choice-based lettings and allocations, customer relationship management, desktop hardware, disaster recovery and business continuity, document management, financial management, GIS and mapping, housing management, housing planning and development, HR and payroll, intranets, job scheduling, mobile working, performance management and reporting, remote working, repairs and maintenance, storage, unified communications (incl. telephony), virtualisation and workflow.
For each of the above application and infrastructure areas, respondents were asked to name their technology supplier and then rate their product/service around five key areas comprising: functionality, value for money, project management & implementation, ease of integration, and technical support & customer service.
The 'Spectrum 2013: Review of IT Suppliers' report is now available. The report is £295 plus VAT (£595 after 31 March 2013) for housing providers, local councils and other public sector organisations, and £795 plus VAT (£1,295 after 31 March 2013) for IT and technology companies, consultancies and other business service providers.
