Strategy Forum - London, November 2019
Event Closed – This event took place on the 28th November 2019
In 2019 Housing Technology launched a series of Strategy Forums bringing together a small group of key strategists to discuss challenges in our sector, potential solutions and hear ideas from outside the sector.
We held our second Strategy Forum in London on 28 November 2019 with Aareon UK. The discussion focused on the future of customer interaction in social housing and the barriers that prevent us from progressing in this area. We had a brilliant and inspiring conversation which generated so many new ideas and potential solutions. Find out more about the topics we discussed below.
The Future of Customer Interaction
- Your customers use internet banking, order food, goods and services, digitally. Is housing keeping up and what are the barriers?
- You can now purchase a car and have it delivered to your house without stepping foot in a showroom. What would good customer service look like in the world of housing?
- Can you imagine what a housing association would look like if tenants could choose their home and move in without any human interaction?
These are just some of the questions we discussed during our Strategy Forum. Hosted by George Grant (CEO, Housing Technology) and Rob Griffiths (General Manager, Aareon UK), we were joined by a group of key strategists who participated in some blue sky thinking about remodelling customer service and what new technologies, business processes and cultural shifts housing providers would adopt if starting from scratch. We also took a pragmatic look at the possible barriers to imagining the future of customer interaction.
Stay tuned for more Housing Technology Strategy Forums in 2020.
