Data matters. Good data and sound data management strategies must be the foundation of all housing providers’ operations, spanning technology, properties, tenants, staff and finance. Now in its fourth consecutive year, Housing Technology’s one-day Data Matters 2025 event will cover all aspects of data in social housing, with a very timely emphasis on data standards alongside artificial intelligence.
Taking place on the 16 September 2025 at the IET: Savoy Place in London, Data Matters 2025 will open at 08.45 for registration, breakfast and informal networking. Lunch will be provided, and the event will close at 16.00.Ticketing will be launched on 1st June 2025.

Conference 2025
The conference took place on 11 March with afternoon workshops and an evening welcome reception, with the main conference on 12-13 March 2025 at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham. Our annual conference is long established as the pre-eminent IT event in housing, bringing together 600 technology strategists.
Data Matters 2024
Housing Technology’s Data Matters one-day event took place at The British Museum in central London on Tuesday 10 September 2024, featuring a brilliant selection of 100 per cent data-focused presentations from selected housing providers on their data management experiences, recommendations, pitfalls to avoid and ongoing results. The event will also include a data-led technology showcase of IT suppliers and, of course, excellent opportunities for informal networking with your peers. Housing Technology 2024 took place on 05-07 March at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham. Over 600 people attended the conference where we hosted a large range of fantastic presentations and workshops covering data management, digital transformation, IoT, agile infrastructure, cyber security, finance & procurement, tenants as consumers and more.

Following the success of our inaugural 2022 event, Data Matters 2023 featured a range of IT- and business-led presentations from selected housing providers on their data management experiences, recommendations, pitfalls to avoid and ongoing results. The event also included a showcase of IT suppliers specialising in housing-specific data management.
