Moving regularly completed paperwork such as vehicle checks, out of hours callout sheets and overtime across to the Total Mobile platform was only the beginning of Isos Housing’s mobile strategy. Isos has used other technologies already established in the business including Capita’s Open Housing, Sharepoint 2013 and Nintex Workflow to enable ‘straight-through processing’ of this information.
11.55-12.15 – Red Kite Community Housing: Developing an Agile Mobile Strategy
Speaker: Adam Rigg, New Media & Channel Specialist
Red Kite Community Housing has embarked on an ambitious mobile working adventure over the past year… Crucial to a full functional review of the whole business, we knew we had to be able to get our staff working smarter with modern technology. We developed an agile interim strategy of trying devices, native mobile forms, scheduling software, tenant online bookings, mobile working procedures, back-office workarounds and mobile apps to see what worked and what didn’t. We started with just one person with one iPad using one form and now we have 30 device users and 18 schedulers transforming the way we work.
12.20-13.00 – BT Futurology: The 6Ds Driving the Future of Work
Speaker: Dr Nicola Millard, Head of Customer Insight & Futures, BT Global Innovation
Despite working for a technology company, Nicola isn’t actually a technologist and combines psychology with futurology to try and anticipate what might be lying around the corner for both customers and organisations (sadly, her crystal ball is currently broken). Her presentation will focus on the views of BT’s futurologists on the six ‘dimensions’ driving the future of work.
1300 – To the Lifts for lunch at the top of the BT Tower!
Lunch at the top of the BT Tower.
