Gallions Housing Association in London has signed a contract with Atlanta Technology to provide third-line technical support alongside its internal IT team in addition to managing a number of bespoke strategic projects. Beginning at the end of 2011, the contract is expected to deliver immediate savings of £10,000 for Gallions Housing.
Ali Jaffri, ICT manager, Gallions Housing Association, said, “In addition to providing third-line support, Atlanta Technology has been fully involved in the renewal of our VMware and storage contracts, where it has negotiated good pricing and terms on our behalf.
“Prior to signing with Atlanta, we had received a quote for £10,000 from another supplier to improve the performance of our disaster recovery system. However Atlanta has since been able to reconfigure the DR system to match the required performance levels at no extra cost, which is a direct saving as far as I am concerned.”
