Vericon Systems has launched MouldSense, a new plug-and-play solution to help housing providers monitor, measure and manage damp and mould.
MouldSense, part of Vericon’s HomeHub series, includes battery-operated temperature and humidity sensors that can be placed around a property to identify and alert housing providers to potential problems. The sensors assess the risk in each room every five minutes, providing accurate information about what is really going on inside the property.
It enables housing providers to decide if fixing a fault is necessary or whether educating tenants about the health risks associated with damp and mould will prevent a problem occurring before it has time to escalate. With in-depth reporting and analysis, MouldSense also provides housing providers with a detailed audit trail to help with compliance.
