Networx has just launched Apoint, the first recruitment management system specifically designed for the housing sector.
Based on consultations with Coast & Country Housing and Connect Housing, the Apoint system is intended to introduce housing associations and RSLs to the benefits of e-recruitment while supporting set processes. The system includes online application forms, ‘essential and desirable’ scoring matrices, online panel sifting and scoring, equal opportunities monitoring, candidate communication templates and vacancy reporting.
Housing organisations can replicate and centralise application forms on their own web sites removing the need for both employers and applicants to print, post and email applications. All information is collated in a uniform manner to help candidate selection decisions.
To support panel sifting of applications, Apoint automatically removes all contact information before allowing selected panel members to view candidate details and score applications online against predetermined selection criteria. The system also provides full reporting on application diversity monitoring, vacancy reports and the success of applications through to placement.
