Leeds Federated Housing signs up for Asprey Assets

Leeds Federated Housing Association has implemented a new cloud-based asset management system from Asprey Management Solutions.

Asprey Assets covers all aspects of LFHA’s operational requirements, from asset management to compliance and works management processes alongside workforce mobilisation through mobile working functionality. The platform also includes innovative, ready-to-use BI tools for company-wide performance transparency and comprehensive self-service tools for asset rationalisation and option appraisals.

LFHA worked closely with Asprey to integrate the solution with its existing systems using a wide variety of standard APIs, resulting in better data rationalisation and automation efficiencies.

Phil Benson, asset manager, Leeds Federated Housing, said, “Asprey Assets offered the comprehensive range of functions we were looking for and was great value for money. One of its biggest selling points was the versatility around reporting and dashboards; for example, we’re currently in the process of using Asprey Assets to build a dashboard to highlight fuel poverty within our housing stock.

“The system covers all areas of assets, and its integration with intelligent energy made it a relatively easy job to gather the data needed to put in our bid for the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund.”

One of the criteria for LFHA’s choice of Asprey Assets was the software’s potential to transform business process improvements into tangible benefits for its customers. The reported advantages for LFHA encompass cost-effective data collection, simplified decision-making processes, efficiency gains and enhanced visibility of organisational performance.

Benson said, “We can now appraise our stock faster and more easily, for both net present value (NPV) and strategic present value (SPV). Furthermore, the provision of AspireBI as part of our Asprey solution has enabled us to be much more dynamic in our appraisals.

“While the Asprey system is off-the-shelf, its inherent flexibility let us meet the system requirements of many business units and gave everyone access to organisation-wide information. Asprey’s consultants were extremely knowledgeable and efficient, and the implementation was very painless, with the project delivered on time and within budget.”
