North Glasgow chooses Documotive

North Glasgow Housing Association has chosen Documotive to provide a fully integrated document and process management system to manage its housing and tenancy files. With 3000 homes across Glasgow under its management, NGHA reviewed its working practices and information management processes and decided that a key requirement was to move away from paper-based processes.

Bob Hartness, finance director, North Glasgow Housing Association, explained, “We realised that we could deliver a better service to our customers by improving and streamlining our back-office functions. We had built up a small mountain of paper over the years relating to the homes that we build and manage.

“We needed a solution that would allow us to manage the paper more effectively and deliver information to our internal teams when they needed it so they could answer customer queries quickly and effectively.”

Having considered a number of suppliers, Hartness and the NGHA board chose Documotive based on the company’s housing experience and range of solutions. Documotive has already delivered document and process management systems to over 30 housing organisations across the UK, nine of which are based in Scotland.

Ronnie Maclean, business development manager, Documotive, added, “North Glasgow Housing Association has laid out a clear project timetable and they trust us to deliver.”
