Network Resource Group has recently launched CloudProtect, a fully-managed service to provide web and email security.
CloudProtect complies with the latest ruling on data protection from the UK Information Commissioner’s Office and as covered elsewhere in this issue, organisations can face a maximum fine of £500,000 for serious breaches of the Data Protection Act from April 2010.
Monitored and controlled centrally by Network Resource Group and functioning on a fully-virtualised platform, CloudProtect allows IT teams to focus less on security threats and more on developing services for staff and tenants.
Network Resource Group said that CloudProtect is delivered at a competitive price compared with other security options. The company explained that CloudProtect costs around £9 per user per year, based on 1000 users over a three-year term.
