Trent & Dove spends £140k on unified comms from IPFX

Trent & Dove Housing is about start the implementation of its new IPFX Director telephony and collaboration infrastructure. The suite includes unified communications, directory services, call accounting, call centre, conferencing, centralised voicemail and advanced ‘presence’ capabilities.

IPFX reported that the value of the contract was around £140,000. IPFX Director will be implemented by Amillan, one of IPFX’s partners.

John Imber, information systems manager, Trent & Dove Housing, said, “We selected IPFX Director on the basis of the wealth of features it provides, which we feel will improve customer service and boost staff productivity. The dedicated call-centre application is being deployed to ensure that all calls will be answered promptly and efficiently and, using its sophisticated presence features, can be referred to the most appropriate and available person.”
