Victory performance with Clearview

Clearview Systems has completed the implementation of a new business intelligence system at Victory Housing Trust in Norfolk. The web-based Clearview Reporting system went live in March 2012, with non-technical staff now able to create their own bespoke reports.

Victory Housing was previously using SAP Business Objects for information management and business intelligence but found that it did not cover all data storage areas and its use was limited to just a couple of technically-skilled experts.

Kate Dulieu, business support manager for Victory Housing Trust, said, “Clearview Reporting is more cost effective and far less complex than using SAP Business Objects or data warehousing. It lets us quickly and efficiently pull together data from a range of sources, including systems from Orchard, Keystone, TP Tracker and Serengeti Systems.

“There are only two people at Victory Housing who can use SAP Business Objects, whereas Clearview Reporting has allowed us to open up business intelligence and reporting to everyone.”

Clearview Reporting uses intuitive search engine technology to link multiple data sources across Victory Housing to enable self-service business intelligence as well as ad-hoc and scheduled reporting.

Dulieu said, “We have already found data that is incorrect and needs cleansing. Now we can also report on data which was not previously visible or easily available. For example, we have used Clearview Reporting to analyse customer contact data to identify and resolve performance issues and gain a clear overview of the number and type of properties we own and manage. It’s also a great resourcing tool for pinpointing peaks and troughs in demand.”
