Vivid Homes goes full-fibre with CTG

Vivid Homes has chosen Complete Technology Group to manage its deployment of a full-fibre infrastructure across its high-rise blocks of flats (comprising 16,000 individual properties).

CTG will manage all communications with internet service providers (ISPs), provide advisory and planning services to Vivid regarding the digital infrastructure of its buildings and then audit all work to ensure compliance and safety standards are met.

Vivid will install Complete Fibre, an open-access ‘plug and play’ digital infrastructure, within suitable high-rise blocks, to which multiple ISPs can then connect. After CTG’s low-disruption installation, Vivid’s residents will still have a choice of broadband provider.

Matt Bellamy, head of asset strategy and delivery, Vivid Homes, said, “Working with CTG means that we can quickly deliver full-fibre infrastructure to all our customers living in high-rise flats with minimal disruption. By making our homes digital-ready for fibre deployment, we can ensure that our customers have access to modern digital services as soon as they’re available.”

Chris McLain, CEO, Complete Technology Group, said, “From a compliance and safety perspective, we know how hard it is for housing providers to deal with numerous requests from ISPs wanting to install fibre in their buildings. That’s why we do all the ‘heavy lifting’ with relevant stakeholders, so that hyper-fast, hyper-reliable broadband can delivered to residents without compromising on safety or standards.”
