Wates Property Services has chosen FLS – Fast Lean Smart’s dynamic scheduling and route planning software Visitour to optimise its field service operations.
WPS, which manages over 600,000 homes and provides repair and maintenance services to more than 20 housing providers and local authorities, plans to use Visitour to overcome its capacity constraints through fewer ‘no access’ appointments, better skills matching, time-of-day job routing, more completed jobs per operative per day and greater opportunities for ‘first-time fixes’.
Gary Wilkinson, managing director for reactive maintenance, Wates Property Services, said, “By integrating Visitour, we expect significant improvements in our operational efficiency, resource allocation and customer service. The FLS system is already live as a pilot project and is expected to be rolled out further over the next few months.”
