Adactus Housing streamlines finance workflow with Invu

Adactus Housing Group has completed the first phase of its £86,000 implementation of a document management system from Invu to automate the processing of transactions from over 700 suppliers, including the digitisation of over 40,000 existing invoices.

The Invu document management and workflow is now being used to remove as much manual intervention as possible from the housing provider’s processing of around 50,000 invoices per year from its suppliers. Adactus and Invu planned a staged roll-out, starting with the most complex implementation in the finance department, with tenancy, development, and health and safety to follow.

The Invu system includes automated workflows, electronic invoicing and full auditability, resulting in fewer data-entry errors, greater financial transparency and easier access to all invoices. In addition, with just 24 suppliers representing 50 per cent of all transactions, the system has made it easier for Adactus to rationalise its supplier management processes.

Kimberley Clark, operations director, Adactus Housing Group, said, “The Invu solution has made a real difference to our supplier management processes. It has given us complete transparency and enhanced control – we now have far greater awareness of all invoices and commitments.”
