Black Country Housing Group is updating its payroll and human resources systems to integrate them into a single system from Frontier Software.
Based around Sandwell, Dudley, Wolverhampton and Birmingham, BCHG needed a system that could accommodate the varied payroll requirements across its staff, such as conditions of service, pay frequencies and annual adjustments, and also needed to provide detailed management reporting facilities. Following a formal ITT process, BCHG chose the chris21 (complete human resource and payroll information system) from Frontier Software.
The introduction of new systems, including those for payroll and HR, often require users to change some or all of their internal processes. However, BCHG’s payroll and HR team found that chris21’s flexibility and similarity to the look-and-feel of Microsoft Outlook allowed them to maintain and even enhance their existing processes.
