Cardiff-based Linc-Cymru Housing Association has chosen Omniledger’s MyTenancy portal to give its tenants online access to their rent statements and repairs information, as well as to support its digital inclusion campaign. The new system is expected to be live by the end of 2011 as part of a three-year contract which includes Omniledger managing tenants’ access to the system and all data updates.
The MyTenancy portal will link directly to Linc-Cymru’s existing Omniledger Pyramid housing management system to access rent and repair information. Using the new system, tenant queries are expected to be resolved quicker, repairs booked and tracked from start to finish, and personal and family details viewable online to ensure tenants receive the correct benefits. Security will be delivered via Omniledger’s off-site hosting service.
Graham Shellard, IT manager, Linc-Cymru Housing Association, said, “We bought Pyramid’s MyTenancy web portal as part of our commitment to giving greater access to our tenants.
“We are also taking part in the Digital Inclusion Wales campaign, so we will use the tenants’ own information to encourage residents in our sheltered schemes throughout South Wales to get online for the first time.”
