Soho Housing saves £16,000 with Kypera

Soho Housing Association has just started the implementation of a new housing management system from Kypera, with the new system expected to be operational by April 2012. The overall project includes data migration from its previous legacy system, an upgrade of Kypera Financials with integration to the new housing system, and training for all staff.

Carmen Clarke, housing manager, Soho Housing Association, said, “Our main reasons for moving to Kypera Housing were the great levels of customer service that we have enjoyed while using Kypera Financials coupled with a very modern housing system that is quick and easy to use.

“Kypera is large enough to provide us with great levels of service and support while being small enough to know our business and really care about Soho Housing.”

The housing provider reported that once Kypera Housing is live, it expects to save around £16,000 over the next five years in reduced software licensing and maintenance costs.

Commenting on the .NET platform on which Kypera Housing is based, Joe Chambers, chief executive, Soho Housing Association, said, “Another reason why we chose Kypera is because it’s built on a platform which will allow us to further develop our IT services in the future and give us better system longevity.”
