Telematics services from Cybit

Cybit has launched a mobile resource management and vehicle tracking tool to help housing providers streamline operations, reduce costs and enable better management of staff and vehicle resources.

Based around Cybit’s Fleetstar-Online telematics system, the consultancy-based service enables housing providers to eliminate unnecessary and wasted journeys, optimise staffing costs and enhance fuel spend analysis.

The internet-based Fleetstar-Online system collects data relating to vehicle and job performance, combined with geographic data, in order to provide a real-time view and analytical capabilities around how human and vehicle resources are being used and where efficiencies can be made. Data from Fleetstar-Online can also be integrated into a range of core business systems to improve the efficiency of the entire organisation.

John Wisdom, sales and marketing director, Cybit, said, “The current financial climate has clearly affected housing providers so we have launched this initiative to help them optimise resources and internal processes in order to ride out the recession and counteract any future government cuts.”

Fleetstar-Online is already being used by Ashfield Homes, Severnside Housing, Cheshire Peaks & Plains Housing, Colchester Borough Homes and River Clyde Homes.
