Halton Housing Trust to implement Aareon housing system

Cheshire-based Halton Housing Trust is set to deploy Aareon’s complete QL Housing suite, with the first phase of the project expected to be live by July 2012. The project is part of HHT’s ‘improving customer experience’ (ICE) programme which began in 2009, with a review of its core ICT systems taking place in March 2011.

The ICT review led HHT to its very specific selection criteria for a complete housing system which needed to include housing management, contractor management, CRM, mobile working and workflow.

Neil Higham, director of ICT, Halton Housing Trust, said, “The aim of the ICE programme was to ensure that our employees and customers have access to the right information, at the right time, and in the right place by making the best use of technology. Therefore mobile working, CRM and workflow are seen as key improvements to help us achieve those objectives.”

HHT has chosen the complete QL Housing suite of products including QL CRM, QL Taskcentre Alerts, QL Financials, QL Personnel/Payroll and i-Housing, alongside with 1st Touch Mobile for repairs and housing management. Aareon also provided HHT with a web-based project portal where all items, messages and milestones related to the project are held, providing the project team with complete transparency throughout the project.
