Magna Housing Group has upgraded its HR and payroll processes with an additional module from Bond Teamspirit to give staff and managers more self-service capabilities and reducing the administrative burden on Magna’s eight-strong HR and personnel team.
Using the new system, personnel and payroll administrators at Magna now have reliable employee information on which to base the payroll and have instant access to all 450 personnel records via a single, centralised database.
David Block, head of IT, Magna Housing Group, said, “We weren’t using Bond Teamspirit’s full functionality with our initial deployment. With the upgrade, we have streamlined our HR and payroll process through employee self-service and providing managers with direct access to staff data. Bond Teamspirit has reduced the need for manual intervention so that staff can now access and update their information themselves.”
Magna has also been able to use the upgraded system to produce online payslips as an alternative to paper ones, with the intention of achieving 100 per cent adoption in the next few months.
