Synergy’s £60k GIS contract with PromapSolutions

Synergy Housing has signed a three-year contract with PromapSolutions, part of Landmark Information Group, to improve its property management services using new mapping tools. The contract is worth a little less than £60,000.

PromapSolutions will give Synergy access to an integrated mapping service with additional reference data and access to the National Land and Property Gazetteer (NLPG). The contract includes access to Ordnance Survey’s master map topography layer, imagery layer and address layer 2.

James Gasson, GIS development officer, Synergy Housing, said, “Having access to the topography and address datasets is crucial as they allow us to do complex spatial analysis so that we can accurately manage and record our assets. W previously struggled to identify addresses accurately but we have found PromapSolutions very easy to use.”
