Active Housing doubles its portal adoption

Since Plentific’s acquisition of Active Housing in 2023, the number of homes accessing services online through Active Housing’s resident portal has doubled from 400,000 to 800,000 homes.

Active Housing’s new customers include Amplius, CDS Co-operatives, Great Places, Hexagon, Karbon Homes, Linc, Magenta Living, Metra Living, Peabody, Plymouth Community Homes, Salix Homes, Settle, Stockport Homes, Tai Tarian, Town & Country Housing, Trivallis and Waltham Forest Council.

Simon Wilkes, head of resident experience, Plentific, said, “Over the past couple of years, what was originally a gradual shift toward digital self-service has accelerated into a fundamental transformation, where resident portals now sit at the centre of service delivery.”

With more housing providers and local authorities considering self-service portals, Active Housing has published a guide to launching a successful portal in 10 steps.

Julia Crossman, head of resident experience delivery, Plentific, said, “The most important factor in launching a successful portal is being clear on its purpose and the outcomes you want to achieve.”
