Aareon & GeoSolveIT in mapping partnership

Aareon has teamed up with GeoSolveIT to introduce web-based mapping to its QL Housing suite of products. GeoSolveIT has integrated its GeoSamba product into QL Housing alongside a number of specially-developed tools to help Aareon customers to quickly use GeoSamba with information stored in QL Housing.

Stephen Makin, managing director, Aareon UK, said, “We have recognised for some time the importance of GIS-based technologies to bring together housing-related data and presenting this in a meaningful and visually-appealing manner. We can now offer customers an out-of-the-box, integrated GIS solution.”

Nigel Robbins, managing director, GeoSolveIT, said, “Wherever we have gone recently, we have encountered QL Housing, a testament to the success of the product and the Aareon team. We have chosen this partnership, not only because of our mutual customer interests, but because both technologies use Microsoft SQL Server which has made integration highly achievable.

“We believe Aareon customers will benefit hugely from this pre-configured integration and wider access to GeoSamba to support other integrations such as linkages with Land Registry information.”

This partnership follows GeoSolveIT’s earlier mapping partnership with In4Systems (see Housing Technology, September 2011).
