Melin Homes plans to align the operations of its housing management, direct works and finance teams using an integrated platform from Capita Software Services. The five-year contract includes the provision of Capita’s OpenHousing, OpenContractor and OpenFinancials products.
The combined Capita system will provide direct online access to the most recent tenancy information, feedback into Melin Homes’ resident reward scheme, support tenant profiling and satisfaction surveys, and enhanced CRM, including computer-telephony integration, to make it easier for Melin’s staff to resolve tenant queries and problems at the first point of contact.
The solution also includes a text messaging platform for confirming housing appointments and reducing ‘no access’ instances. Tenants will have access to a resident’s portal allowing them to request repairs online and view details about their account. The mobile working part of the system will give Melin’s housing officers remote access to centrally-stored housing and tenant information while in the field.
