Homes for Haringey and West Mercia sign with Sungard

Homes for Haringey and West Mercia Housing Group are both in the middle of implementing new performance management systems from Sungard Public Sector. Both organisations are deploying Sungard’s Aspireview system, with Homes for Haringey expected to be live in October 2009 and West Mercia one month later.

Homes for Haringey, which looks after 21,000 homes on behalf of London’s Haringey Council and employs 700 staff, will use Aspireview to manage their KPIs as well as their corporate risk and action plans. In addition, the Aspireview Key Lines Of Enquiry (KLOE) module will help them to self-assess and prepare for short-notice and planned inspections.

Pete Davey, housing information manager, Homes for Haringey, said, “We think we have been at the forefront of technology in our sector for many years and see Aspireview as another tool to keep us there. We are looking forward to working with Sungard on this deployment and expect to see positive results within days of implementation.”

The West Mercia Group comprises five housing organisations managing a total of 24,000 properties across the West Midlands, Herefordshire and Worcestershire, with recent growth making reporting more difficult at both member and group levels. West Mercia is implementing Aspireview to deliver performance information directly to the desktop, helping staff manage their KPIs, corporate risk and action plans as well as using the Aspireview KLOE module for inspections.

Andrew Carroll, head of ICT, Whitefriars Housing Group, which is part of the West Mercia Group, said, “We were impressed by how quickly Aspireview was configured to meet our exact requirements. This, combined with the fact it is fully web-based enabling very quick roll out with minimal IT involvement, made selecting it very simple.”
