Housing Plus signs EDM deal with Documotive

Housing Plus, formerly Central Borders Housing Group, has chosen Documotive to deliver an enterprise document and process management solution. With over 5000 properties under management, Housing Plus wanted to improve the way information from its core business systems, including its MIS ActiveH housing management system and Frontier Chris21 system, was managed and coordinated across all areas of the organisation.

Mark Stevens, project manager, Housing Plus, said, “We implemented a document management system five years ago which was supposed to manage our housing and tenancy files. However in our opinion, the system wasn’t fit for purpose and certainly could not be deployed across other areas of the organisation. We decided to look for an enterprise solution that would work for everyone.”

Stevens explained, “After consultation with our housing, finance, planned maintenance, development and HR departments, we looked at various suppliers. It became clear that Documotive was the only one that could really meet our varied needs as Documotive focuses solely on social housing and has a wealth of knowledge and experience. As part of the procurement process, we visited Documotive customers and listened to their issues. At the end of the process, there was only one clear choice for Housing Plus.”

Jonathan Holyhead, managing director, Documotive, said, “Our focus is very clear – to deliver the very best solutions to the sector and provide real return on investment. Unlike other suppliers who work across all sectors, we have built a focused team with a wealth of knowledge and experience.”
