Accelero & Cadarn Housing’s joint venture

Cadarn Housing Group and Accelero Digital Solutions, both based in South Wales, have formed A&C Technologies, a joint venture to promote the SPriNT software to care and support organisations.

SPriNT was originally developed by Cadarn in 2005 to record support and care work and is now used by around 60 organisations in the UK. When it wanted to add functionality for mobile working, Cadarn approached Accelero as it was one of the few companies in the UK working with an innovative digital pen technology from Anoto. SPriNT users can now write documents and complete forms using a digital pen and then once back in the office, they can easily transfer the written text straight into the database.

Richard Troote, director of customer services, A&C Technologies and head of IT at Cadarn Housing Group, said, “As well as proving how a housing provider can compete in the private sector and provide new job opportunities, this joint venture is a very exciting development for software in the support and care sector.”

Kelvin Jones, managing director of Accelero Digital Solutions and technical director of A&C Technologies, said, “We have been working with Cadarn on the development of SPriNT for almost three years. Our skilled team and complementary products will allow us to develop additional sophisticated functionality for SPriNT users.”
