Guinness, Golden Gates & One Vision sign with Civica

Civica has announced that the Guinness Partnership, Golden Gates Housing and One Vision Housing are deploying its Public Protection software. A pilot site at Guinness Northern Counties went live during April 2009 followed by a wider staged roll-out, while One Vision signed contracts with Civica in May 2009. Golden Gates has now been operational for several months and is now being integrated with other Civica products such as Contact Manager.

Civica’s Public Protection software enables housing providers to achieve cost efficiencies by bringing together staff resources such as anti-social behaviour and customer service into one central system that holds all types of data relating to ASB incidents and cases. Civica said that Public Protection is intended to replace existing ‘siloed’ systems or multiple spreadsheet-based reporting that has led to poorly-coordinated responses to incidents or inefficient, duplicated response processes.

Steve Lamb, head of ICT, Golden Gates Housing, said, “Civica Public Protection goes beyond housing management systems to bring all of the functionality needed to manage social housing into one easy-to-use system. We also know that we can integrate our CRM or GIS technologies with Civica Public Protection easily if we want to let tenants see the progress of their enquiries via our website.”
