OptusApp has just launched what it describes as the first truly AI-native, fully-integrated housing system.
Designed specifically for social housing, OptusApp’s Empient platform combines a housing management system, asset management system and customer relationship management into a single technology ecosystem. It also incorporates OptusApp’s tenant smartphone app and web portal.
Gerry Kelly, CEO, OptusApp, said, “What distinguishes our Empient platform is its genuine AI-driven front-end. Rather than relying on complex queries or manual data extractions, end-users can generate detailed, actionable reports using plain English.
“For example, housing staff can simply request: ‘create a report summarising all rent accounts as of today’s date, for 1, 3 and 6+ months arrears’ or ‘list any of our assets where damp and mould has been reported within the past 24 months’. Even sensitive administrative tasks such as generating subject access requests can be completed instantly through natural language commands.”
The platform is available as Empient Core, an out-of-the-box system for smaller housing providers, and as Empient Flex, a customisable version for larger housing providers with more complex needs.
Kelly said, “Not only will Empient be technologically disruptive but our licensing and pricing model will also challenge the sector’s traditional commercial models.”
OptusApp has also partnered with a leading data management specialist to tackle the problem of how housing providers can migrate from their legacy systems. Furthermore, Empient’s API will be available to all customers as part of the Empient package to support integration with customers’ other business applications.
