Mobysoft has reported how Scottish local councils using its RentSense software have consistently outperformed their non-RentSense peers for income collection, based on their 2024/25 ‘annual return on the charter’ (ARC) submissions.
Across all Scottish councils using RentSense, the average income collection rate for 2024/25 was almost 102 per cent compared with 99.9 per cent among non-RentSense councils. The two top-performing Scottish councils for income collection were RentSense users, while three of the top five councils overall also used the platform.
Chris Magennis, regional director for Scotland, Mobysoft, said, “This shows is that strong income performance isn’t about working harder, it’s about working smarter. RentSense helps councils identify which cases need attention, which don’t, and where an intervention will genuinely change an outcome.”
