Vericon Systems and Hispec have joined forces to integrate Vericon’s intelligent monitoring platform with Hispec’s portfolio of fire and carbon-monoxide detection solutions, enabling housing providers to take a more proactive approach to managing fire safety across their housing stock while making regulatory compliance easier.
Taking data from Hispec’s detection and monitoring devices, Vericon’s online platform gives housing providers real-time data on the condition and status of their properties. The platform also provides instant notifications so that potential problems can be dealt with as soon as they happen.
Bernard Cook, managing director, Vericon Systems, said, “Until now, managing fire and carbon-monoxide safety in social housing has often relied on scheduled inspections and hoping that nothing goes wrong in between inspections.
“By integrating Hispec’s detection technology with our monitoring platform, we’re enabling housing providers to go beyond box-ticking compliance.”
