Weaver Vale now live on Aareon’s QL Housing

Cheshire-based Weaver Vale Housing Trust has just replaced its old housing management system with QL Housing, Aareon’s portfolio of software modules covering the core disciplines of housing management, maintenance and development. The new system is being used by around 100 users.

Andrew White, director of resources, Weaver Vale Housing Trust, said, “We looked at a number of other systems and felt that Aareon’s was the one that most closely matched our needs as it put tenants at the heart of the system.

“We are already working on a second phase of additional modules of the system while reviewing and consolidating those areas of QL already in use.”

WVHT has also installed Aareon’s i-Housing to provide a web-based portal for its tenants and contractors, giving them to access to a ‘virtual housing officer’ around the clock.

Joanne Watkins, the project leader at WVHT, said, “Although we already had a tenant portal, we replaced this with i-Housing as it provided extra benefits for our tenants, plus the changeover went remarkably smoothly.”
