Following its recent implementation of RentSense, Prima Housing has brought its arrears down to just 2.3 per cent, comfortably beating its target of 3.4 per cent.
Lisa Gaskell, income manager, Prima Housing Group, said, “RentSense has been a game-changer. For our team of four income officers, we save the equivalent of one person’s workload each week. We can now prioritise cases based on more accurate data, allowing us to intervene earlier and support tenants better.”
RentSense’s Assisted Automation functionality has also helped the housing provider run targeted campaigns, such as guiding its tenants through universal credit updates, and helping tenants move from housing benefit to universal credit, with the overall aim of sustaining tenancies and reducing financial exclusion.
Gaskell said, “Our income officers now have time to take a wider approach to sustaining tenancies. They’re not just chasing arrears – they’re helping our tenants to access financial aid, apply for grants and find solutions to their financial challenges.”
