Housing Hartlepool has just signed contracts with Sovereign Business Integration for a new electronic document management system. Sovereign will help Housing Hartlepool generate a requirements specification for the EDM system and will project manage the process to identify and select a suitable provider.
The need to switch to EDM was identified as a practical means of saving valuable office space as well as simplifying processes for staff accessing corporate data. The time and resource saving will in turn allow Housing Hartlepool to deliver better services to tenants, speeding up response times to queries and allowing instant visibility of comprehensive information.
Sovereign has also recently appointed a new housing and public sector technical consultant. With 20 years’ experience, Kathy Stearns joins Sovereign from Orbit Housing Group where she was responsible for developing workflow systems and data implementations for various business areas, including repair scheduling and rent payments and arrears.
