Home Group is upgrading most of its sheltered housing schemes with a new digital telecare system from Everon. The upgrade includes compliance with the analogue-to-digital switchover scheduled for January 2027.
As a cloud-based wireless solution, Everon’s system runs across a mesh network that monitors signals from the telecare units installed in each home and the communal areas of each sheltered housing scheme. Tenants can wear a pendant or wristwatch that can send an alert to Home Group’s alarm receiving centre or an onsite independent living coordinator.
