Ardenglen Housing has reported that it has cut its arrears to a ten-year low of 1.8 per cent (fy2024/25) following the use of Mobysoft’s RentSense software for its income management activities.
Since implementing RentSense around ten years ago, Ardenglen Housing has maintained arrears well below sector averages alongside case-completion rates by its income team of 92-100 per cent. At the same time, the housing provider has only needed to resort to legal action on average once a year and carried out just a single eviction in the past few years.
Suzanne Casey, director of customer services, Ardenglen Housing, said, “RentSense has been central to our performance over the past decade. It has freed up our staff from unnecessary workloads and allowed us to focus on the tenants who really need us.
“Achieving sub-two per cent arrears, while keeping legal action to an absolute minimum, shows the value of combining data-led decision-making with a supportive, human approach to sustain tenancies.”
