The Housing Technology Awards 2026/27 are now open for your entries, so if you’re proud of your last project, pleased with your team’s work and/or keen to share your experience and knowledge with your peers, we’d love to receive your entry for our awards (conference.housing-technology.com/awards).
We also know from our previous winners and runners-up how their entries have been successfully used beyond ‘corporate PR’ to boost team morale, recognise success, increase the internal visibility of technology projects and even gain additional funding.
Now in their fourth year, the Housing Technology Awards remain entirely focused on recognising, rewarding and sharing best practices in our sector. Our awards are therefore judged by your peers, free from any commercial bias (I think we’re unique in deliberately having neither sponsors nor entry fees) and 100 per cent independent.
If you’ve not entered our awards before, the process is very straightforward. Most importantly, our assessment and marking framework (as used by Housing Technology’s research team and our external panel of judges) is published online. This transparency is to make it easier and fairer for all entrants to compose their entries in line with how the awards are actually assessed, broadly covering: project/programme details; business & technology results; innovation; quantitative goals; and qualitative goals (each only around 200 words).
The categories for our 2026/27 awards are artificial intelligence, customer services, cyber security, innovation, IT team of the year, regulatory compliance (new for 2026/27) and technology leadership of the year (also new). Please note that projects or programmes such as data management, HMS migration, complaint management, IoT deployment or repair scheduling (purely as examples) could fit into one or more of the above categories, depending on the specifics of your particular project/programme.
If you’re considering entering our awards, we’ve assembled a bunch of materials to make it as easy as possible for you, including comprehensive advice and stories from our past winners and runners-up – for full details, please see conference.housing-technology.com/awards.
